Happy Happy Birthday Hubs!!

I want to start by wishing my FABULOUS husband a HAPPY 33rd Birthday!!  I hope that Aiden and I helped to make your first birthday with our little family of three a memorable one!

Jim doesn't take birthday's as seriously as I do... or at least he doesn't take as seriously his birthday.  To me birthday's rank right on up there with Christmas.  I love to celebrate ANY ONE'S birthday, but especially the birthday's of those that I love (Aiden can look forward to a lifetime of over-the-top, possibly embarrassing displays of birthday fabulousness!!).

Every year I ask Jim what he wants to do for his birthday, and every year I get the same answer - "Nothin"...  Every year I tell him that answer won't fly and to come up with something better ;-)  This year after the initial "Nothin", he finally decided on crawfish, beer and football.  So, on Friday, we headed to the Boiling Point for just that.  His birthday celebration didn't stop though... I promised him a weekend of relaxation and meals of his choosing.  So, Saturday he sat on his behind (minus an early morning trip to grocery store to beat the inclement weather crazies) and I cleaned house.  We finished up the night by both sticking to our diets and enjoying some fried catfish, fried okra, and french fries for dinner - YUM!!!  Today (his actual birthday) he slept in while Aiden and I wrapped the rest of his birthday gifts and made breakfast, then he sat on his behind again :)  We wrapped up the birthday celebration with a yummy steak and potato dinner and a glass of wine.  I hope that he enjoyed his birthday weekend, because I certainly enjoyed it for him!!!

On another note, Aiden had his 9 month (yes, I said NINE MONTHS!!!!) check-up.  He did SO good!  He is now 19lbs 1ounce and has made it the 50th percentile in head, length and weight... this means he is approximately the size of any average 9 month old... he has caught up!!  I still find it a little hard to believe because he still hasn't made it out of 6 month clothing, but regardless, he's getting bigger =)  Here's a little video from the doctor's office  - he LOVES his reflection in the mirror!
